New Life for a Tired Workplace

Rejuvenation of a yellow brick, heritage, two story office building in downtown London saw it transformed from a dark, dingy workplace into a wonderfully warm, inviting and vibrant business setting.

Before purchasing the building, our clients asked Stonewater to look at the property and offer our opinion on design possibilities. They had two questions: would the space be sufficient for their needs and; could it be transformed into a beautiful and functional office that would communicate professionalism and currency to their clients. Their goal was to achieve an old world charm that would build on the existing features of the building. A secondary goal was to complete the project within a reasonable budget.

Stonewater design assessed the building from top to bottom. Flooring (ceramic tile, carpet, and vinyl), wall colours, and lighting fixtures were selected to establish the ambiance of the office. A new kitchenette, dining area, and client washrooms were furnished and decorated. Walls and partial partitions were added to improve efficiency in the reception area. Window coverings, films, furnishings, and accessories completed the interior. New exterior signage and accent colours finished the project.

The Lance Howard Group is excited about the result. Staff and clients are comfortable and delighted with the warmth and attractiveness of the space.
