West Park Church

In the heart of Hyde Park, on the outskirts of London, a new church is welcoming in the community. Stonewater Design worked intensely with West Park Church to help them define and realize their dream of creating a contemporary setting for church and community activities.

About our Journey with Stonewater Design

Working closely with Stonewater Design on the project from conception to completion was a journey of joy. The response from our people and visitors alike is "Wow" or "Awesome."

Mandate and Approach

We wanted a moderately contemporary design, with excellent functionality, within a fairly restricted budget. They worked easily within our guidelines. We also asked that the bar be raised in terms of beauty and functionality in order to meet present needs and the needs of generations to come. We believe that their vision and decorating gift contributed significantly to the realization of that goal.

They were well organized with a solid theme. They worked closely with the many Ministries personnel, the Architect, the Project Manager and the Building Team—no easy task.

The Bottom Line

They developed plans and revised them in a timely manner... always sensitive to the input, needs and desires of the many groups in the church.
